Deirdre Neilen, PhD, is Associate Professor of Bioethics 和 Humanities 和 Editor-in-Chief of The Healing Muse, 推荐最近最火的赌博软件's journal of literary 和 visual arts. She received her doctorate in literature from Syracuse University.

Her research 和 publishing interests include cultural diversity in health care, attitudes toward 和 treatment of patients with sickle cell anemia, patient narratives in contemporary literature, 和 creative writing. Her scholarly 和 creative writings have appeared in The Examined Life Journal, Blood & 雷声, Narrative Inquiry in Bioethics, World Literature Today, Academic Medicine, 美国的方式, 新字母, 和 Northeast Magazine.
